Indie game development team Haenir Studio, whose upcoming co-op action horror game Blight: Survival we've had the pleasure to highlight several times in the past, has officially announced its new partnership with Behaviour Interactive, the developer of Dead by Daylight, to bring Blight: Survival to life.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Blight: Survival is a medieval cooperative extraction-lite pitting you and up to three other players against mortals and monsters in a desperate attempt to reach and destroy the source of the Blight, a deadly affliction that plagues the land. Set in an alternate 14th century, the game offers a vast array of medieval weaponry and gear for customization, guiding you through gritty locales filled with hidden mysteries.
Through collaboration with Behaviour, Haenir seeks to leverage the studio's resources and expertise in horror games to realize their vision, delivering an ambitious and unique experience for players. "Teaming up with Behaviour Interactive signals the next major phase of development for Blight: Survival, we're thrilled to kick off this journey together," commented Mads Christensen, Haenir's Co-Founder.
