Roman Gibadullin showcased another low poly-style artwork.
Take a look at this low poly head sculpt created by a talented 3D Artist Roman "iltaen" Gibadullin in Blender.
The low poly style is an artistic decision and not a technical limitation, as Roman Gibadullin specializes in low poly art. The artist sculpts the model from scratch and skillfully creates a lifelike head and facial features. He then intentionally turns the sculpt into low poly, avoiding smooth transitions on the surface of the character's skin and hair.
The creator shared that retopology was done by hand, as the character rigging requires a certain layout to move properly. According to the artist, the retopology methods using nodes are not the best for creating faces.
