Torbie Games' debut title has various ways to show how it's "set in a world of whimsy.”
Game developer Torbie Games has shared a 30-second video clip that takes us on a journey through the vast, cozy village in their upcoming title, Everbloom. The video provides a third-person view as we cross the forest and farmlands filled with fruits and take a small path to get closer to the village area. The vibrant colors and adorable movement of the furry controllable character are truly impressive.
“Everbloom is a cute and cozy farming social sim set in a world of whimsy,” reads the game description. Like all the cozy farming simulators, you can run away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peaceful rural life here, farming, crafting, cooking, fishing, making friends, and more. The vast map is home to various secrets and stories waiting to be discovered in deep forests or mysterious caves.

Farming is a bit different than usual. Harvesting corns and turning them into popcorn takes too much time and tests one’s patience, so the developers take a shortcut — the game allows players to add butter to the corn in the farmland, so you’ll harvest popcorn directly. Setting fire to the normal peppers to turn them into Diablo peppers that are super hot — makes perfect sense.
As a social game, Everbloom offers the opportunity to work together with friends on quests and events and share resources. Besides that, the various characters formed a great community with which to interact. “Forge friendships, help your neighbors, and ask townsfolk on dates to become an integral part of a community that grows and thrives with your participation.”

Raising animals could be fun, as each of them has its unique personality that “can be passed down between parents and child.” As you explore the world, some wild animals with special traits can be encountered and collected. You can even raise a Strawberry Cow.
Everbloom is the debut title of Torbie Games, a small studio led by veteran developers. It has received over 50,000 wishlists on Steam. If you enjoy cozy and relaxing farming games, be sure to check it out and add it to your wishlist. Before you go, take a look at the footage that the developer has shared:
