The developers are working hard to release the game this year.
Urban Jungle is an upcoming vibrant casual gardening simulator that we first covered back in May. Developer Kylyk Games, a Thailand-based indie studio formed by three friends, two programmers, and a 3D artist, has shared some intriguing updates about the game in the past few months.
If you missed our previous article, in Urban Jungle, you decorate small houses and apartments with plants and transform them from concrete boxes into a green haven. Through the environment, you will be able to follow the life story of the protagonist, who grows up before your eyes, changes places, and evolves as a person and plant lover.

The developers shared the great news that Urban Jungle was nominated as the "Most Wholesome" game at Gamescom this year. Encouraged by the high anticipation from the 66,000 players who already wishlisted the game on Steam, the studio has updated the demo to version 4.0, which allows players to meet the characters, pet the "CHONKY catto Rufus," play with the controller, and more.
We encourage you to follow the developer on X/Twitter to receive future updates and be notified when the game is launched later this year.
