Former Baldur's Gate Devs Announced a New CRPG in the Works

Ossian Studios' Pathfinder: The Dragon’s Demand is a "vast, single-player, turn-based CRPG based on remastered Pathfinder 2E rules.”

Vancouver-based Ossian Studios, an independent studio that was founded and led by former BioWare producer Alan Miranda, who worked on games like Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal and Neverwinter Nights, announced its latest title: Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand.

The teaser trailer below gave us a first look at this "vast, single-player, turn-based CRPG based on remastered Pathfinder 2E rules” with a unique tabletop aesthetic:

Pathfinder: The Dragon’s Demand promises over 30 hours of gameplay and features an extensive, interactive world to explore. It includes a variety of miniature characters and quests that react to your choices. Additionally, the game offers "deep, custom character builds," allowing players to choose from 7 ancestries, 16 classes, and more than 30 backgrounds. Players can select their role from various options such as dwarf, elf, gnome, goblin, halfling, human, or orc.
